What KOVID Has To Say About COVID-19?

Now, this title sounds too humorous…. I am confused about where to start from….

Anyways, Hi, I am Kovid, My name’s pronunciation is the same as World-Famous COVID-19. Now, please don’t laugh again!!!

On the day, when this disease was named as COVID-19, I received many texts, I got offended but I laughed too…. By laugh, I mean really huge laugh.

Everybody was asking for my take on COVID-19…. Now, as I already said, the title is so funny, What Kovid Has To Say About COVID-19, haha…. well here is what I want to say about it.

But before that, I have a short story.

“HOW I GOT CAUGHT BY CORONA VIRUS”

Now, don’t take this situation in a joking way, it is really a serious situation.

One day, I was just doing some exercise from my Home Gym — which I do regularly. But one day(1 week ago), after I did some pushups I was feeling a problem in breathing. Then I thought it was because of that pushup.

I worked the whole day (I am a Copywriter and A Python Programming Tutor that’s why my lifestyle hasn’t changed so much). But the problem is breathing was still there.

I was scared. I did some online self-test assessments and all of those suggested to meet a doctor. Slowly, I started feeling some kind of hot temperature in me — the same as FEVER.

I was more scared. I then we searching for some ways to do the Corona Virus test, but I asked some people who are experts in the medical field, and found that it was because of Gastric, often termed as GERD in medical term because of the reflux of the acid.

Then finally, I was calmed. I didn’t feel anything after that.

So, the only lesson that came through this process is, “PSYCHOLOGY PLAYS A GREAT ROLE”. The day before it happened with me, I was looking at news of Corona Virus all day, which may have affected my subconscious thinking pattern into something negative.

Take control of your mind.

My Take On COVID-19

Now, I am not a doctor or skilled professional, for disclaimer. So, whatever I say in this post is all based on my personal understanding and may not match with the fact. I would suggest you go to this link for more actual information on COVID-19.

Now, when it comes to pandemics and epidemics, these situations are really scary and are really destructive, Bill Gates had already predicted something like this 5 years ago in his TED Talk. (You can watch it here)

But, it’s not a moment where you will have to be really fearful and live in a fearful situation. But quite opposite, this is the situation where you have to live with full harmony.

Instead of fearing so much, it is always better to follow safety measures like wearing masks, keeping social distance, and many others which you may have seen many times — if not you can search for “safety measures of COVID-19” — don’t type KOVID-19. :D

You Can Follow The Following Measures Which I Learnt From My Experience:

  1. Don’t watch the news too much: Watching too much news may result in psychological mis-patterning, which may result in negative thinking and you might get the same experience as I did.
  2. Focus On Your Goals: Currently, everyone is quarantined. It’s a great time to focus on yourself and your goals. Complete the task, that you had been procrastinating for months, if not years. — This is what my current mentees are doing. Focusing on their goals. Now it’s your turn.
  3. Spend Some “ME” Time: By “ME” time, I don’t mean sit and meditate, well that could be one of the things that you could do, but “ME” time could mean anything that you love to do. Either it is playing guitar, writing articles, cooking new dishes or spending times with your loved ones.
  4. Learn To Take Conscious Care of Yourself: You got it? Do you understand what I want to say? Consume healthy foods, take vitamin supplements if needed, do exercise (at least for a minute, keep the blood flowing and make yourself pumped), feed positivity into your mind.

These are the things that you may do in your QUARANTINE LIFE. Live Consciously. Take Care of Yourself. Don’t take this as a JOKE because it is a serious problem.

Think it once, how would it feel if your loved one gets COVID-19? — So spread this post to all your loved ones and spread positivity along with it.
